Level 4
Level 4 · Medical-surgical capstone
A timed practice exam of 75 NCLEX-RN-style questions that bring together medical-surgical nursing: cardiac and respiratory, kidney, digestive, liver and endocrine, neurological and musculoskeletal care, with fluids, electrolytes and lab values. It has three case studies, select-all-that-apply items and full rationales. It is a study aid, not a prediction of any exam result. NCLEX and NCLEX-RN are registered trademarks of the National Council of State Boards of Nursing (NCSBN), which is not affiliated with HoneNURSE. For education only. Not clinical advice.

How the exam works
- One question per screen. Once you move on, you cannot go back to an earlier question.
- You have 100 minutes. The timer starts when the exam opens and keeps running, even if you leave the page. When time runs out, the exam is submitted with the answers you have saved.
- Your answer is saved after every question, so you can resume where you stopped if your connection drops.
- The exam opens in full screen. Leaving full screen is recorded and the timer keeps running.
- If focus leaves the exam, for example to another tab or window, you see a warning and it is recorded. Warnings do not end this exam.
- Copying, pasting, printing and right-click are turned off during the exam.
The exam needs a laptop or desktop computer with a window at least 1024 pixels wide.
Your report
When you finish, the report shows your score, the time you used, a breakdown by client need and topic, and every question with your answer, the correct answer and the rationale.
The readiness band is a study aid based on this exam only. It does not predict your real result.
